If you, or someone you know, has an infant, the Fisher-Price Rain-Forest Gym is the best toy the child can have.  It is outstanding as a developmental toy, delightful for pure fun, and long lasting.
For decades people have been hanging a mobile over an infant crib to visually intrigue and encourage reaching out. This gym/mat does the same thing and a whole lot more!

 

The base mat is soft and colorful

There are hooks on the cross bars where you can hang toys.  Some up high, some lower where the infant will learn to roll as he reaches.

The gym comes with a parrot with a spinner, soft monkey, colorful toucan, and cute elephant with soft ears.

Lower down on the bars is a shinny mirror.  Up higher are spinning butter-flies, a crinkly leaf and a spinner with rattling beads.
